🌹 Irresistible Red Velvet Dream Cake – A Classic with a Velvety Twist!
Ingredients:
For the Cake:

2 ½ cups (310g) all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 tsp cocoa powder

1 ½ cups (360ml) vegetable oil

1 cup (240ml) buttermilk, room temperature

2 large eggs, room temperature

2 tbsp (30ml) red food coloring

1 tsp white vinegar

2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

450g cream cheese, softened

115g unsalted butter, softened

2 cups (240g) powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour two 8-inch (20 cm) round cake pans.

In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.

In another bowl, whisk together oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla until smooth.

Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until smooth and well blended.

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Prepare the frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Add powdered sugar gradually, then vanilla extract. Beat until light and fluffy.

Assemble the cake: Place one cake layer on a serving plate, spread with frosting, then top with the second layer. Frost the top and sides evenly.

🎂 Cake Fun Tip:
For extra style, crumble a bit of the trimmed cake top and sprinkle the crumbs over the frosting as decoration!
