As this YouTube channel nears the 100,000 subscribers milestone, I'd like to hear your thoughts on what the next project should be to celebrate this occasion. Below are some project Ideas that are on the table for consideration. If you have any project suggestions, please leave a comment down below!
For those of you who have been keeping track of the DC-10 project over the last few months, I'll try my best to explain why there's been a lack of videos over the past month or so about the project. The project has NOT been given up on and is, in fact, still planned to be finished. The reason for my lack of activity on the platform has been due to me moving houses and having school responsibilities as well as overall tasks that make it hard to work on LEGO projects. I am also waiting for certain parts to arrive to be able to continue work on the DC-10. Once I can work on the DC-10 again, I will be sure to publish an update video for that. The goal is to have the plane finished by the end of the year, and I think that that goal is entirely reasonable. In the meantime, I will be publishing a couple of exciting videos so keep your eyes out for that!
I look forward to bringing you more content in the future!
I want to cover a couple of topics in this post. The first of which will be a channel update.
Over the past week or so I’ve been attending Brickfair Virginia and will have video from that to share on my channel. I’m hoping to have this out in about a week.
The second thing that I want to cover is an amazing LEGO model of a United 777. This was not built by me it was built by the Flickr user Freezeur21. He was inspired by my 787 model and has created a very nice rendition of a United 777. I don’t typically do shoutouts. Please don’t ask me to do shoutouts. This was just such a well designed and photographed model I thought it’s a tragedy that it doesn’t even have 20 views on Flickr. Let’s change that!
I haven’t published a video on the Emirates a380 in the past few weeks, but that doesn’t mean that I’ve stopped working on it! In fact quite the opposite! I’m in the phase now where I’m finish off final details as well as finishing off the interior. I am refraining from uploading a progress video at this point because I want to have a nice surprise for the final video. I’m hoping that I can get the final video for the a380 out in the next couple of weeks. I have NOT abandoned the channel or the a380 and expect a video on the a380 soon!
For those of you that are curious on where the a380 stands I have an update for you. I’ve completed most of the mid wing section where the outboard flaps and spoilers are. Both the flaps and spoilers have been hooked up to the motors and are working fairly reliably. It’s going to take a few more days of testing to ensure that the flaps and spoilers can work reliably, but I’m getting really close.
I hope to have the entire wing done within the next couple of weeks at which point I’ll start to work on the engines and fuselage. More to come!
I have been busy lately finishing 3 different airplanes and getting ready to film them! I have also been buying parts and planning for the a380 which also takes time. This is why you haven’t seen too much activity from me lately. However, PLEASE go support the 737-500 on LEGO ideas if you haven’t already.
I have some videos planned for next week so stay tuned! In the meantime, please be sure to go support the 737 on LEGO ideas especially if you want it to be in this review period!
I’ve got some updates regarding a couple of topics. First I’d like to remind everyone that the 737-500 is still up on LEGO ideas and needs about 2100 more supporters! Please be sure to go support it if you haven’t already! ideas.lego.com/projects/579341e0-b0b4-47a9-bba1-ab… The next announcement I’d like to make is that I will be redoing the Lockheed Constellation to make it in the same scale as my other models. Currently it’s about 8 inches to short in length and 6 in wingspan. I may end up doing this after I finish the 757.
The last thing I want to mention is in regards to a small regional jet project. I am not super well versed in this area so please be sure to leave me your suggestions for what you would like. Keep in mind that this will be for LEGO ideas so I’m looking for something that is smaller than a 737 for instance, but not quite as small as a tiny Learjet.
The Southwest 737-800 is getting very close to 10k on LEGO ideas. Hopefully we can get it to 10k within a week. However, the 737-500 project is still up and has almost 7000 supporters! We are only 3000 supporters away from this model reaching 10k!
We also only have 111 days left before the project expires. We’ve come this far to get 7000 supporters for the 737-500, let’s get it to its goal!
If we are able to get support for TWO 737s for the next LEGO review session that will send a strong message to the LEGO ideas review board that there is demand for a realistic passenger plane.

On my British airways 777 would you rather I continue building the model as a 777-200 or would you rather I build the stretched version the 777-300ER?
