Just letting you guys know I'm working on several things right now. But the Lilo&Stitch video is still the priority. I should have more time to finish and release by the end of November, potentially.

I might stream some Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines at some point, when I can. I want to try the sequel out. I've just had no time to do anything recently. ಥ_ಥ

Hey Mortals. We're kicking things back into full gear.

Still working on the L&S remake. I now have more time to work on it (August is a terrible time for me), and maybe, *maybe*, it can be an October release. I also want to give a shoutout to my patrons, the support helps more than you know!

I have an idea for a fun Halloween video too, but it depends on how much time I have left in October.

You can expect more updates as my deadline approaches.

Greetings. I'm making a Lilo and Stitch video.

Yes, I know there are a ton of videos and impressions already, and this is a bit out of my style. And it'll probably fade out of the review-sphere when that pointless Dragon rehash arrives. But I feel compelled to say something because the original meant a lot to me personally.

Think of it this way, you're technically going to get an appreciation for the original at the same time. I doubt it'll be another 2+ hour chonker. Hopefully, it won't take several months to finish. Maybe.

In other news, I uploaded the original comment section from the NIMH video that got taken down. It's free for anyone to view on my patreon. I'm also going to try to update it with stuff I'm working on, because I've got a secret project in the works...

I've been in a bit of a 'blue funk' since my last video went up. And I don't really want to leave things off in a mopey attitude, just in case I disappear into the void again.

So instead, I'm gonna do a hang out livestream where I'll just talk about stuff. Things like my future plans, a Q/A about The secret of NIMH, or whatever. Really casual.

I'm thinking Wednesday next week. Pop in if you're around.

Thanks Youtube. You only killed all of the momentum my video had going for it.

No biggie.

I'm not just saying that either btw. I have data from both drafts to back up that Youtube squashed the re-upload in terms of impression rate. It's not even close.

The claim wasn't lifted from part 2 though. So now I'm waiting another week to appeal that.

The video is back, unfortunately, not the original. But it exists.

I have a comment pinned there detailing what's going on. In a nutshell, either 7 days passes and the video is safe, or the video will disappear again.

I promised you guys an update.

After researching how Youtube's copyright system works, I have the option dispute the claim that hit my video.

It's not 100% clear, but the Email I got seems to indicate that it's still an automated ID claim. (Also, a few private draft versions I had to check copyright issues from before got hit all at the same time, which indicates an auto ID bot, at least to me).

Problem is this. It can take up to 30 days for the claimant to release the hold over the video, in my case, it's a company, not a person. If they fail to respond, the video goes back up. If they double down, I can make an appeal that it's under fair use. (Which should be blatantly obvious to anyone who watched it). If that also fails, I'm forced to delete the video within a week, or my channel gets a strike.

So this is what I've decided. Because the dispute system might take up to a month, and with a good chance of not making a difference anyway, I'm going to re-release another version with an additional overlay and some minor changes. If THAT gets taken down, then I'm at a loss for what to do.

The video may end up going back into the oven. I'll just have to add more variation of clips from other sources not in the film all over the place until the claim goes away. If I do that, there's no telling when the video will come back.
Obviously, I'm not a fan of this option, because I was planning on moving on to many more projects for the channel.
