Archiving, preserving, and documenting all things niche, obscure, and underground with the intent of accessibility, dissemination, and education in order to build a larger cultural and historical narrative to how greater culture, consumer, and social trends are shaped by the underground and "outsider" art and music communities. I am especially interested in what is largely considered “Flyover Country” of the US, my home state of Oklahoma, and, my field of academia, Japan.

Current Active and Ongoing Projects: undertaking a massive job to organize, digitize, upload, and archive several hundred field recordings and concert bootlegs I've made on cassette through my twenties (2015-2025). Organizing my digital archive of Japanese underground music for upload in to “Music From Japan” playlist.
