I'm kinda on the fat side. I'm trying to get my fingers moving on the first 5 notes from middle C ascending. I find that when I try to use my left hand to work on the lower octave my elbows are touching the sides of my body and so make the attempt to play uncomfortable. So other than loosing weight is there a reason for this such as I am positioning my hands incorrectly? Where exactly should the center of my body be in relation to the piano? Thanks for your time.
