@graytowers

I heard someone say, To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, to be late is unacceptable. I agree with this

Always show up early. Any slob can be late. It doesn't matter the event, be early. it's a show of respect.

If you're on time.... you're late. That's what my Chief said when I was in the military.

My dad was in the Navy 72-96 so we were taught at a young age to be early.

It depends on the event or occasion. For work or a party, I’d prefer to be early. For my execution, I’d prefer to be late

Depends on what, where, who, and when.

Our former American consultant told us that, "If you come to the office on time, you're 15 minutes late, because that's the amount of time you need to make preparations before you actually start working".

My father instilled in us that if we were not 15 minutes early to work, then we are late. This is great for work, bad for parties.

Being on time is necessary.

I have been working 30 years the vast majority of the time I'm at least 20 to 25 minutes early that's just what I decided I want for my approach to a working environment and outside of work I tend to usually always be early to each their own it's always been important to me to be reliable

I was taught that if you're not 10 min early, you're late. This builds in a cushion of time for life happening while you make plans. Besides, I'd rather sit in the car or somewhere and de-stress before dealing with whatever is going on.

Punctuality is the first - and easiest - way to show a basic level of respect to other people. Keep your word. If you say you'll be somewhere at 9, be adult enough and respectable enough to leave in time to be there at 9. Keep your word. It's literally the least you can do.
