Would you be interested in watching Shorts videos of just the most epic part of my songs?

@SecessionStudios

I'm not sure if Shorts videos would be applicable to my music but Youtube is pushing them hard with creators. Your thoughts on this would be super appreciated!

@SaladbarSlytherin

The "epic" part of the song means nothing without the "non-epic" part that leads up to it . Keep the greatness coming, Greg!

I really love the build up and that's what makes them truly epic but shorts can be a nice way to get more exposure and then more people might listen to the full versions too Since this is just an extra addition I'd say go for it

I'm guilty of having a short attention span or being short on time. Knowing that I like the climax of a piece makes me more willing to listen to the build-up.

@HiggyIsSlick

One thing I really like about your pieces compared to other composers is the build up to the climax, so removing that would kind of suck, although I do see why this could be good for people with short attention spans

Anything you do I'll watch!!!!

The entire song is the most epic part to me.

I would, your tracks are amazing! But the problem is, I wouldn't be able to "like" them. Bcs I've made the "your likes" page as my defacto workout playlist, so everytime I like a music track, it gets inadvertently transferred there. But hey, shorts would be great for sampling tracks to put into the playlist later!

I want the whole thing not just a piece of a masterpiece.

@odst7973

Nah cause the entirety of every one of your songs is epic. I'd rather hear the whole thing if it's by Secession Studios 💯

I vote no only because I’m a music nerd and I prefer the whole thing! Keep on keeping on either way! Your musical talent is inspiring.

As a music student, I know that music means just a fraction without the build-up of the rest of the song. However it could be smart to maybe make some content and specifically use your music for it. Like for an example having some dark movie character and use one of your dark songs. Or you could take a way different route and expierment with some different type of videos. Maybe explain a bit about the music you've made and your intention behind it or have som text/voiceover which explains who this type of music is for etc. Remember that Shorts give you 60 seconds to make a video, so if you don't care too much about optimizing for going viral, you'd usally get a pretty decent buildup to the climax in 60 seconds.

I don't think just the "epic part" will satisfy me. I think one of the most beautiful talents you have is telling a story though music and for me the build up is everything. The epic part is amazing but more so in comparison with the build up, let down, and full story. I love and respect your music in it's entirety and would want it no other way.

My opinion will be the same as many comments I just read, I would not be interested for myself as the whole song is really important and you can't really cut the build-up to the climax, so anyway I would focus on listening to your songs (which are always amazing by the way : keep up your good work ❤️) But I also discovered some cool musics through some shorts so maybe it could give you more visibility on YouTube. I feel like quality is always more important than quantity. And if it burns you too much energy to make shorts, don't feel obliged to do it just because the platform push you to it. The choice is yours :p

I use your songs as emotional background music for my Starfinder game. This might be useful to help me quickly figure out where each song fits.

Might get some new eyes (or ears i guess) on your stuff but I'd rather listen to the whole thing. New album is a banger btw. Love the vocal bits.
