I'm not a little person, but I am severely disabled (and visibly trans and homeless) and i have to live my whole life in solitary confinement due to severe allergies. Youtube recommended your channel to me today and it blew me away. now i think i'm actually gonna write the post-apocalyptic novel about disabled people out-surviving anyone i had only been idly imagining. I had lost my hope temporarily. Thank you for restoring it.

The content you bring to this platform is so important. I am ashamed to say that before you i knew next to nothing about little people, and you content has helped me see the world in a different perspective. I wish you much more success!

I was recommended your channel just yesterday, your video Shrek and the Untold History of Court Dwarfs, and I subscribed just a few minutes in and then I proceeded to binge a bunch of your videos. There are so many things you talk about that I never would have thought about otherwise or had never heard about before. Thank you for making your videos, I look forward to continuing watching them!

today we hit 10k subscribers in just one month. when i was a kid, the early days of youtube, i remember every time i saw a little person in a video, it was them being used as a joke. i didn't know any little people growing up, besides one or two at brief periods, so this was often my only exposure to people who looked like me. i remember periods of time where it was trendy to film yourself, or a friend, jumping over a random little person. or picking them up. and then as influencers were born, often, they'd use little people as props and setups to jokes we still see littered across social media today. and in 2021, when i started posting regular content to my 50 subscribers, i was bombarded with hate comments for being black and disabled (they would call me a "niglet") and i eventually had to stop posting. all this is to say, it was always a dream of mine to reach this accomplishment because i knew with 10k subscribers would come all of you, a community that shared the same values i did. community, kindness, empathy and self growth. we have fun here, we laugh, we talk about the hard things, and ultimately, we stick together. so this means a lot to me, and i thank you all for being here. this work is incredibly fulfilling to me, i have had so much fun on this new journey, and i look forward to the Dwarfism History World Tour one day in the future so i can hug all of you in person (LOL but fr) i love you! keep going!
