Fat loss after menopause

@soypaolabernal

I was always very athletic, and with exercise and diet, I maintained my body composition. However, starting at age 48, I began gaining weight, and my abdomen, which had always been flat, started accumulating fat. My training was no longer effective. I also experienced episodes of anxiety and deep sadness—I felt disconnected from myself. My blood sugar levels rose for no apparent reason. I didn’t experience hot flashes, extreme fatigue, or sleep problems

Your wife sounds like me! Just plug away with what needs to be done in life yet, I am not interested in HRT. I have had friends on HRT and got breast cancer. I have family history of breast cancer and feel if I do HRT it will feed that cancer in me. Suggestions for a natural alternative? Now some of my symptoms like your wife I feel in me is related to Michigan weather especially during the winter yet, I can relate to no interest in wanting to do things, cry at a drop of a pin, noise level gets to me which I read is a symptom.
