Yes, it failed for the first time, but it didn't show up again for some reason.

If your Intel hardware is old enough it seems to install properly (basement full of sockets 775 & 1155)

Windows Update actually says it installed correctly for me. Which probably means there's also a bug in Windows Update, knowing the Windows team these days. :D

This is my last windows OS. I just had to reinstall on this partition. Only need this for 1 game that I moderate. Other than that, I have been using Linux the past 4 years solid for my other uses.

Initially it failed, but once I restarted my computer after installing the security update, said update installed without error.
