Many years ago when I tended bar at the old Claremont Resort, Spa, & Tennis Club in Oakland, CA.... and shortly after he went sober, and before he was called home.... Stevie Ray Vaughn came into the long gone Terrace Lounge to see me prior to a show. We were talking about our favoeite musicians and of course I said mine was you Robin. Stevie asked why, and I said, "Because when I hear or see Robin Trower play it sounds like he's playing for the creator. 🙏 Wish you could have been there to see the smile spread across his face from ear to ear as he nodded in agreement and understanding. 😎👍 Love ya brother, prayers for many years of good health to you.❤🙏

Miss being able to see you tonight, good sir. We’ve met so many times, you just may remember me. You’re about to go on stage here very soon, at Jacksonville’s exquisite Florida Theater. Currently enjoying “Into Dust” from 1999’s Go My Way…25 years after Bridge of Sighs, 25 years before tonight. I’d be there if could roll this broken wheelchair the 2.4 miles to make it door to door.
