Yep! Currently running iOS 26 on my 16 Pro Max and it’s been very smooth. I’m thoroughly enjoying it; definitely the best iOS update thus far in my opinion. Just had the expected slightly more battery drain than usual initially as per with software updates, but that’s pretty much evened out now and it’s all good.

iOS 17 GANG. might be updating to iOS 18 while there is still time - have seen some good feedbacks, so we can laugh at the folks running iOS 26 for another whole year.

I love iOS 26. It’s the redesign overhaul that iOS has desperately needed for years. Liquid Glass looks so fresh and clean, especially on the iPhone Air. 🔥 However, iOS 26.0 has bugs. I notice them mainly in Safari when shifting between tabs as well as pretty noticeable battery drain too. Plus, I feel like navigation in Safari, while better aesthetically now, has become more functionally cumbersome

Battery life on 14PM is horrible in iOS 26. Still bugs everywhere. New battery usage isn’t even as good as it used to be. Used to show me battery usage since last charge, now it just shows me for the entire day starting at midnight. In Photos, if I search for screenshots it shows me pictures and videos that are not screenshots. Almost every animation/effect stutters

I restored to 18.7 from 26. Bugs and performance issues are not for me, also more pwm.

I installed both iOS 26 and iOS 18.7 on different devices to split test them. iOS 26 I installed on iPhone SE2 and iPad Mini 6. iOS 18.7 7 I installed on my iPhone SE3 and iPad 9th gen. Results: The 18.7 devices are way stabler than the iOS 26 devices for sure. (Lots of apps crash on iOS 26 and had to completely restart the apps just to do basic things, like renaming a tab in excel, or swiping a window in safari) iOS 26 looks nice for the most part though, but navigating Safari on it felt confusing til you showed me how to change the interface, so thanks for that. Will hold off upgrading my iOS 17.7 devices until I see iOS 26 get less buggy though. Thankfully my other devices will Guinea pig when that happens! Interesting to see that when these released, even my old discontinued iPhone 6S Plus got a surprise OS update (iOS 15.8.5 became available for it same day). That one’s actually pretty stable!

I wish I would've stayed on 18.7... 26 is just such a huge mess .. my phone literally needs a power pack just to get through the day

Sticking with iOS 18.7 for now IPhone 16 pro max —iOS 26 has too many performance and battery issues. Hoping Apple sorts it out with 26.0.1

I just bought an iPhone 16 Pro. I bought it cheaper than the base iPhone 17. I don't regret it. It's perfect! With the new iOS 26 battery is great and the OS is smooth. I appreciate your videos Aaron! Good work!

I’m on a 13 Mini. I’d be carrying around a brick far more than I do already if I upgraded to 26. Sticking to 18.7 for some months. Need a new battery, get that and I’ll then determine if I want to get a new iPhone. Want a new one, I just don’t want to pay for it in full (I usually do), and right now I’m broke AF. May grab it through Verizon. Lost my job and I’m cooked.

I like iOS 26 so far. It seems like we’re finally going back to a textured, three dimensional aesthetic that hasn’t been seen since iOS 6.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, its working very good, of course the battery is draining a little bit faster but nothing too bad. It's pretty good for a first version.

iOS 18.7 is very good. I feel 18.7 is a good stopping point, but we will obviously see a .1 update later for security and bugs, but it's perfect. Now iOS 26, I just installed it and I’m already liking it. The only thing I dislike is when you change the icon theme from dark to clear and the app library doesn’t load the change fast enough in my opinion, but it's very nice actually, loving the new look

Running iOS 26 on the iPhone 17 Pro Max and after 6 hours and one restart, seems to be working fine. So far so good! 👍

I am currently on iOS 18.7. I will update my phone once we get to iOS 26.6.1 next September 😂

Updated to 18.7 and I have no issues and a long battery life. One of the reasons I didn’t update to iOS 26 because I know it’s not optimized yet. I’ll wait for 26.1 or 26.2

iOS 26 Released to the public a few days ago along with iOS 18.7 as well. How have they been for you? Do you still have any issues or is it working great for you? What would you like to see added or changed as well? Also, how is battery life after a few days now? If you comment below, please include the device you are using and the version you are using on it.
