👉 Learn how to evaluate logarithms using a change of base formula. The change of base formula states that when we have a log of a to the base of b, we can evaluate the logarithm by using a common base for both a and b as follows: log of a to the base of x divided by log of b to the base of x. (i.e. log [base b] (a) = log [base x] (a) / log [base x] (b).
