Elwira Janasik – mezzosoprano

Graduate of Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the voice studio of Ryszard Cieśla. Many-time scholar of the Polish Ministry of Culture and Pro Polonia Society.

She is a winner of many national and international vocal competitions, including the 3rd Maria Stankowska National Voice Festival in Olsztyn, the 2nd Barbara Kostrzewska Sub-Carpathian Vocal Contest, the 6th Lubomir Różycki Vocal Competition in Gliwice, the 10th Franciszka Platówna National Vocal Contest in Wrocław. She won the 3rd prize at the 4th I.J. Paderwski Vocal Competition in Bydgoszcz and the 3rd prize at the the 14th “Slavic Music” Inter-College Vocal Competition. She was also awarded the 3rd prize prize, along with the distinction for the best mezzosoprano at the 3rd Giulio Perotti International Vocal Contest in Ueckermunede (Germany). In 2019 She became a finalist of the 4th International Opera Vocal Competition Adam Didur. She received a special prize from the chairman o
