Welcome to Indies Visual Kei Galore. Here is where I upload songs that I feel are important to the Visual Kei scene, old, or new. If it has some amount of influence on the scene, or if the members of the band are involved behind the scenes of bigger bands, AND I happen to enjoy it, I'll upload it, and give some insight.
This really started off as a personal channel for songs that were in low quality on YT, and to an extent, it still is. But, I view Visual Kei as "high art" (though I really don't like the distinction between high and low art), and I feel people in the current scene have lost touch with their roots. I want to give insight into the roots of the modern VisualKei scene, and preserve some potentially dying parts of the culture.
The best way to enjoy modern visualkei is to first appreciate what made it the way it is. If you know the roots, you view it in a new way.
