Brain science, consciousness issues from the viewpoint of the universe as a natural symbolic system. I am a brain and consciousness researcher. I spent 4 years in the PhD program at Emory University in behavioral neuroscience and evolutionary psychology, but left to write a book on the symbolic universe: "The Textbook of the Universe: The Genetic Ascent to God" which I finally completed 7 years later, after writing many papers and filling thousands of pages of notes on synchronicities--which included a unique methodology for experimentally testing synchronicities and ranking them from my previous papers and years of collecting information on synchronicities. I also included a comprehensive framework for understanding them, and interpreting what they actually are related to anthropic cosmology, etc. The methodology I used was also later reproduced by Gary Schwartz at the university of Arizona and compiled into a book "Supersynchronicity"
