Starting in 2001 under the guidance of Mr. Kulawardana Lekamge the Media Unit of Central College Piliyandala followed the first few footsteps of a school media unit by engaging in announcing and news reading. Then in a few years, it was joined by a technical department, and in 2014 the Media Unit entered the cyber world by publishing a blog and an official Facebook page which later extended to other social platforms as well. In 2023 the college filming and photography unit was merged with the media unit as the photography team. So here we are! 22 years and still counting…
