Hello 👋🏼 Boys & Girls. Always wondered why we lack behind while having all the talent 🏏in the world. I always kept thinking 🤔 during my playing days. I played insane amount of cricket in Mumbai tried to get in the state team, got close but couldn’t get into the squad. Went off to UK 🇬🇧 at the age of 19 & played some quality cricket there (Middlesex Division 1). After spending my first season I realised I never lacked in skills but I was an emotional 😭 🧠fool which didn’t let me perform to the best of my ability. Had a great first season in England and followed it up with another 2 running scoring seasons. After all that I realised the problem is always in your head 🧠 mostly.I know exactly how it feels. Coaches do 20%-30% of the work in the nets but the rest 70% which is supporting the player off the field by talking to him/her matters the most. In life we have a companion & in cricket too we need a companion who can be called a Mentor who is a support system.
