👢 Rub it deep into leather – boots, gloves, jackets, saddle bags…
🌧️ Water beads right off – it’s nature’s redneck raincoat.
⛺ Even canvas tents got the lard love – smells like bacon, keeps you dry.

🧼 Did you know old-school rednecks washed their clothes using lye made from wood ash and rainwater, stirred in a hollow log or a busted tub? 🪵💧🐾

Way before detergent jugs and coin laundromats, folks cleaned up using straight-up country chemistry:

🔥 Burn a good pile of oak or hickory – save that ash.
🌧️ Pour rainwater through it slow – make yourself some honest-to-God lye.
🪣 Toss it in a log, a tin tub, or whatever holds water – and get to stirrin’.
👕 In go the jeans, socks, and grease-stained shirts – add elbow grease and rinse 'em in the nearest creek or cow trough.

No perfume, no bubbles, just raw, rugged clean.
