Saffron Van Rossem is a multidisciplinary circus artist and aerialist specializing in aerial silks, her original apparatus “Rilks” (a fusion of rope and silks), and LED aerial hula hammock.
Her work blends aerial theater, storytelling, and innovative transitions to create visually striking and emotionally driven performances.
She also performs on sling, rope, lyra, spiral, and invented apparatus, and incorporates contortion, hand balancing, and foot archery into her work. She has collaborated with Paper Doll Militia and other companies on contemporary circus and original apparatus.
Her original works explore themes of transformation, resilience, and the emotional landscape of the human experience.
She is the creator of Circus With Purpose, a project that brings artists together to train, create, and perform to support social circus initiatives using performance as a tool for connection and impact.
