AUTHENTICALLY PARENTING
â¤ď¸ Can I make a gentle request?
Last year I created my From Control to Connection series, and itâs still the series parents reach out to me about the most.
If youâve ever thought,
âIâll watch it when I have more timeâŚâ
this is your reminder. đ
You donât have to watch it all this week.
Just start with one episode.
Listen while youâre driving.
Fold laundry while itâs playing.
Pause halfway and come back tomorrow.
These conversations werenât created to give you quick parenting hacks.
They were created to help you understand your child more deeply, navigate power struggles with more confidence, and experience parenting with greater connection and less overwhelm.
If I could recommend one free parenting resource, this would be it.
â¤ď¸ Iâd love for you to start here:

And if youâve already watched the series, Iâd love to hearâŚ

AUTHENTICALLY PARENTING
One of the biggest questions I've been asking myself lately is:
**"Why was my reaction so big?"**
For years, I thought my biggest parenting challenges were about my children.
But the more I began to understand my nervous system, the more I realized many of my reactions had very little to do with the moment in front of me... and much more to do with stories my nervous system had been carrying for years.
In today's conversation, I sit down with Daria, a mom I've had the privilege of walking alongside for the past four years.
When we first met, she often felt overwhelmed by guilt, self-criticism, and the fear of repeating old family patterns.
Today, she shares what changed.
Not because parenting suddenly became easy.
But because she learned to understand herself differently.
Together, we talk about:
đ Breaking generational patterns without blame
đ Raising emotionally intelligent children through connection
đ What happens when we stop trying to "fix" behavior and become curious instead
đ How nervous system healing changes parenting, marriage, and family relationships
đ Why lasting change doesn't happen overnightâbut is absolutely possible
If you've ever caught yourself wondering...
⢠"Why did I react so strongly?"
⢠"Why does this feel bigger than the moment itself?"
⢠"How do I stop repeating patterns I never wanted to pass on?"
...I hope this conversation reminds you that you're not alone.
And that awareness is only the beginning.
Real transformation happens through practice, support, and community.

If this conversation resonates with you and you're ready to understand the deeper patterns shaping your parenting, I'd be honored to support you.

AUTHENTICALLY PARENTING
One of the biggest things I've learned through this work is that parenting has a way of revealing what was already there.
A child's behavior can feel like the problem.
The sibling conflict.
The backtalk.
The resistance.
The outfit you don't want them wearing.
The bedtime battle.
But often, those moments are simply the doorway.
The doorway to a fear.
An old belief.
A protective pattern.
A story we've been carrying for years without realizing it.
Recently, I was talking with a mom whose preteen daughter wanted to wear something to a family gathering.
On the surface, it seemed like a disagreement about clothing.
But as we got curious together, something deeper emerged.
It wasn't really about the outfit.
It was about the fear of being judged.
The pressure to get it right.
The responsibility she had carried for years to be seen as a good parent.
And once she could see that story, everything started making more sense.
Not because the pattern disappeared overnight.
But because she finally understood what she was working with.
That's why I love this work.
Not because we're trying to become perfect parents.
But because every parenting moment has the potential to bring us closer to ourselves.
đ
And this is exactly the kind of work we'll be exploring inside A.L.I.V.E., beginning June 29.
Not just what happened.
But what's underneath it.
Because awareness is the beginning.
And support helps us create something different.
Save this post for the next parenting moment that feels bigger than the moment itself. đ

AUTHENTICALLY PARENTING
What if your child isn't the problem?
What if parenting is revealing something deeper?
I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
Not because parenting is about fixing ourselves.
But because parenting has a way of bringing our fears, triggers, expectations, and old stories to the surface.
And maybe that's not a failure.
Maybe it's an invitation.

AUTHENTICALLY PARENTING
I wonder how many parents are carrying this thought today:
*"Why is this still so hard?"*
Not because they don't love their children.
Not because they aren't trying.
Not because they haven't read the books,
listened to the podcasts,
or learned the tools.
But because parenting asks so much of us.
It asks us to stay calm when we're overwhelmed.
To be patient when we're exhausted.
To break patterns, we're still healing from ourselves.
To lead while we're still learning.
And sometimes that's a heavy thing to carry alone.
The longer I do this work, the more convinced I become that most parents don't need more information.
They need support.
A place to ask questions.
A place to reflect.
A place to be seen.
A place to practice what they're learning in real life.
Because parenting was never meant to be done alone.
And that's exactly why I created A.L.I.V.E. Parenting Methodâ˘.
A place to be supported while becoming the parent you want to be.
đ Enrollment is now open.
If you've been feeling called to go deeper, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
Comment ALIVE or send me a message and I'll share the details.
With love,
Jahanvi đ

AUTHENTICALLY PARENTING
Your nervous system never forgets.
It stores every raised voice,
every moment you felt unseen,
every apology you needed but never received.
Thatâs why some triggers feel bigger than the moment in front of you.
They arenât just reactions to the present.
They are echoes of unfinished stories your body still remembers.
And healingâŚ
Healing is not pretending the past didnât happen.
Itâs teaching your body that the present is no longer the past.
That you are safe now.
That you donât have to stay in survival mode.
That softness is not weakness.
That connection can exist without fear.
The body learns safety slowly.
Through repair.
Through awareness.
Through being met differently than before.
And sometimes healing begins in one small moment:
when you pause before reactingâŚ
when you breathe through the triggerâŚ
when you choose connection instead of survival.
That is how generational patterns begin to shift.
One safe moment at a time.
⨠If this resonated deeply with you, download my free H.E.A.R.T. Parenting Guide.
It will help you begin understanding your childâs behavior, your triggers, and the nervous-system patterns underneath both with more compassion, awareness, and connection.

Motherâs Day isnât always light and easyâŚ

So this year, I wanted to offer you something different.
Not another thing to doâŚ

⨠Parenting doesnât feel hard because youâre failing.
It feels hard because no one taught you whatâs happening inside you in the moments that matter most.
You love your child.
You want to stay calm.
You want to respond differently.
And yet⌠in certain momentsâŚ
you react in ways you wish you didnât.
Not because you donât care.
Not because you donât know better.
But because when your nervous system feels overwhelmedâŚ
you lose access to what you know.
Thatâs the part most parenting advice misses.
They give you tools.
But tools donât work when your body feels flooded.
⨠Thatâs exactly why I created this free live class:
The Regulated Parent Experience
This is not another parenting class full of tips.
This is where youâll finally understand:
đ Why parenting feels so hard sometimes
đ Why you react even when you donât want to
đ How to regulate your nervous system in real time
đ How to show up with more calm, clarity, and connection
Because when you feel safe insideâŚ
everything changes.
⨠PLUS: Live attendees receive 2 bonus tools to help in hard moments.
⨠Canât make it live? A 48-hour replay will be available when you register.
