Sahyadri hub for Innovations and Entrepreneurship (SHINE) Foundation is a Section 8 company set up by Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management to emphasize Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The Foundation supports start-ups and industries emerging from the region to drive community-based innovations and practices for the region's growth.

Over the last years, The foundation currently houses 22 companies consisting of 3 MSMEs and 19 startups incubated and 20 more ideas in the pre-incubation stage from the College to create a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem on the campus. SHINE has earmarked close to INR 1.8 Cr seed money to promote these ideas and launch them as a product. SHINE through its various initiatives take is striving to set up a startup ecosystem in the region.
