Chasing the light 😼 Some stills from on of my previous videos. Which shot is your favorite? 📸
Hello my dear followers, I apologize for my long abstinence from social media. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well as I was suffering from depression. The last few months have been very difficult for me, but also enlightening. I started taking medication for my depression, which unfortunately had severe side effects and threw my everyday life even more out of balance. I developed insomnia and was sometimes awake for 60 hours. About 2 weeks ago, I came across a YouTube video that gave me a new boost. The term depression was always too general for me. In this video, I heard about “imposter syndrome” for the first time. A symptom that I had never heard of once in a total of 10 years of therapy. Everything applied 100% to me.
Here are a few examples of the thoughts of affected people:
“In reality, I’m only where I am now by luck and chance. I’m actually totally incompetent. I just hope no one notices.”
“What I’m doing isn’t good enough. I feel like I’m starting from scratch every time.”
“I can’t enjoy my achievements, what I didn’t achieve yet determines my thoughts.”
This realization has helped me to find an approach to focus my new therapy. At the end of the day, I have to appreciate that I can do my dream job and I will manage the rest.
BTW. Fritz is doing great! And the other cats anyway. Thank you for your loyalty and support! 🫶
Can’t wait to show you everything I created in the last months. 📸😻
I loved this photoshoot so much 📸😻 one of my favorite ways of taking cat photos in general. But with playful and fearless kitties, it’s even more fun 😼 I took these shots at the Abyssinian cattery @amunzula in 📍 Marl, Germany.
Hey friends! Here are some shots of my most viral IG reel (82M) / TikTok (17M) this year. Usually I’m not blaming algorithms for getting low views, but youtube is extremely weird lately. My recent Videos ALL went viral on instagram and/or TikTok, but YouTube says NO! Even my picture posts on YouTube get more views than my Shorts 😹 that’s why I show you these shots here. Hope you enjoy them. If you want to see a behind the scenes of this photoshoot, check out my recent shorts.
Some weeks ago I had a Cover photoshoot for my favorite cat magazine from Germany "Geliebte Katze" (=beloved cat)
There was a competition and hundreds of cats applied for a cover photoshoot. Together with the editorial team we chose Litschi (Lychee) as the winner. I drove 3 hours and really hoped that everything goes swell.
What can I say… Litschi was incredible!! I’ve never met a cat that’s such a professional meowdel, except for Fritz. This cat is so well trained by his amazing Catmom Marlene. It was so much fun to shoot with them.

Today I had the pleasure to meet these two kittens at a friend who adopted Elfi (tabby) and Mojo (orange) from the animal shelter about two weeks ago.
They are absolutely adorable, a little bit shy but they couldn’t resist the wand toy at any time 😹. Can’t wait to show you more of this amazing photoshoot 😻😻
BTW I’m so annoyed by the limit of 5 images per post here on YouTube. Check out the full post on Instagram.
In my recent post I showed you the 5 favorite shots of my clients.
These are my 5 favorite shots of the photoshoot. It was not easy to choose because some of the pictures don’t work on Instagram because of the aspect ratio. Also, I wanted to show each of the 3 cats at least once, but there’s always one supermeowdel. The black british shorthair kitty on the first 3 slides was most photogenic and cooperative. Overall I’m really happy with the results and can’t wait to have the next black cat photoshoot. I think my lighting technique is slowly improving.
About two weeks ago I had three photoshoots in Stuttgart and met seven American kitties 😸. They all moved to Germany with their Pawrents who are working here. This was photoshoot number 1 of 3 and these 5 photos are the favorite pictures of their Pawrents. Unfortunately the Tabby cat Molly (last slide) was so shy that we had to go outside in their garden and take some shots from a distance.
It’s exciting that my own favorite shots always differ from the shots my clients choose.
I will show you my favorite 5 of this photoshoot in a separate post, maybe a short.
BTW Sorry for the lack of posts lately but I’m super busy with client jobs and stuff. One thing is for sure: I will show you AMEOWZING things 😼
