Throughout history, stories have been our unwavering companions—inspiring courage, instigating laughter, and guiding us through our darkest times. They told our history, they gave us hope, and they transported us to other worlds beyond our own.
In honor of this tradition, we will gather here by the firelight to share some of these old stories—be they myth, legend, fable, or folktale, from around the globe and from the hidden corners of the world. We will spin tales of tricksters and lovers, warriors and ghosts, gods and monsters. Some beautiful, some strange, some frightening, but all of them embody something deeply human.
If you allow, my voice will be your guide on a journey through time. We are not here to analyze; only to enjoy them. If you’ve ever heard a tale told by candlelight or campfire, you know the magic we seek to invoke here.
