So I just uploaded the last video from the bunch of Guiding Light of tapes I told you about in the previous post. Now I found another folder that I never uploaded that also has older Guiding Light and As The World Turns but from a different source. I believe these came from someone who worked on the shows because there’s BTS content from filming and some studio tapes. I”ll start uploading those soon. Hope you enjoy these as well.

So I have some uploads coming that are probably the most fascinating and frustrating tapes I’ve ever come across. I have been sitting on this content for years cause I didn’t know what to do with it. Some of you will absolutely hate these uploads and some will appreciate them. Either way I want you to know that I’ve spent so much time the past couple of weeks trying to make these tapes watchable for you guys. I was going to upload them as is,but it bothered me,so I went through the extra effort for you guys and my own personal preference. So anyway these tapes were recorded in the late 80s and early to late 90s. The person who recorded them would watch almost all the soaps airing,but instead of watching one soap 95% of the time and recording the ones they weren’t watching,they just flipped between networks which leads to a bunch of random clips from all the soaps of that day/week. There’s the occasional full episode or partial episode,but most of the tapes are compilations. So what I did was strip down the footage and paste every single clip of the same soap together chronologically almost like a puzzle. It was time consuming and exhausting,but it made the videos more watchable,so I hope you can appreciate them. I would definitely prefer if it was full episodes,but at the same time,these tapes are so unique cause of how they were recorded. I won’t be able to leave these uploads public long due to the content,so i”ll probably make a new playlist,but the 80s related ones will go in the 80s playlist for now. Soaps include Loving,Another World,All My Children,One Live To Live,General Hospital,Days,Bold,YR,Santa Barbara & Guiding Light,ATWT,and more.

I found a backup save to what I thought I had lost(🙏❤️🥹),so I been trying to upload everything in my drafts that’s been in there for 2-3 years before I upload a bunch of new stuff. I’ve emptied my currents drafts give or take a few things and will be uploading new things soon. Going to be starting with some older stuff I’ve never uploaded and then going from there. A good bit of this was digitized before I got my HQ VCR,so quality and audio might not be the best,but I figured people still want to see some of it. Hope you enjoy what’s coming 🙏❤️
So I woke up for the first time motivated in a long time to go through files that I haven’t uploaded and drafts on here that I haven’t uploaded. I was in such a good mood going through things and seeing many things I haven’t shown you guys yet. I went to a folder that contains contents from a lot of tapes that has rare programs from the early 80s to mid 90s. Probably the best lot of tapes I’ve found yet. Some of the contents i’ve uploaded,but a lot that I hadn’t. In the process of transferring the files from one device to another,many of the files became corrupted. I’m just now realizing this years later and no longer have the tapes. To say i’m devastated is an understatement. Spent so much time converting, editing,and naming those files. I got really emotional and i’m still sad. Rare episodes of Y&R from the mid 80s and 90s,Another World,and a lot of other daytime TV that’s not really out there is lost forever. I learned a lesson about moving large files,double checking,and backing things up though. Maybe i”ll still upload some stuff to try and cheer myself up. Leave comments on anything you enjoy. It might cheer me up too :)

Surprised I’ve gone this long w/o getting a strike/strikes. No more court shows will be uploaded here. They’ll be on the Archive when/if I decide to re-upload. Warner Bros has hit me strikes on Judge Judy and now this. Keep the Archive bookmarked,cause I never know what will randomly get striked. Any YT Channel can go at any minute. Luckily YT treated this all as one strike. Always check the playlists cause i I often make vids Unlisted/Private to avoid situations like these. Anyways, let’s see how much longer this channel can hang lol. Have a great day.
