Hi, my name is Stephen Nawotniak. I am a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Peer Specialist in New York State.
In August 2002, I was hospitalized for a week with a major depressive episode and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. From that point forward, I have spent my life learning how to live with my condition on the journey from hospitalized patient to an Occupational Therapist and Certified Peer Specialist. I created this channel to support people in developing hope and freedom around uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
