There’s a very telling detail in the original Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone script. Right there on page one, in the top right corner.
I noticed it when I visited the Warner Brothers Studios during my trip to London earlier this year.
Scenes 1-18 are omitted.
Which means the movie was originally NOT going to open like the book (with Dumbledore dropping off baby Harry).
I wonder if scenes 1-18 were backstory or flashbacks of Voldemort’s rise to power or the history of magic?
Either way, I thought it was an interesting detail. It’s amazing the little things you can deduce from just a few marks on a script.
By the way if you haven’t been to London to see the studio tour, I highly recommend it.

Who knew my old iPhone 13 Pro was capable of photographing the Milky Way? These are unedited, which is honestly not bad out of the camera. Shot this in a dark sky zone at the Great Sand Dunes National Park here in Colorado.

Day 4 of filming wrapped! It was pretty chaotic. We had a Lambo, a Corvette, a Cybertruck, a French Bistro, about 12 actors, and we all got sunburnt. 😂 It was a blast.
