My name is Kayse and I work as a 1st Assistant Director (1st AD) in the film / tv industry. Whether you are a consumer / fan, on the AD track specifically, or just curious about what it's like to work as a freelancer in the arts, follow along as I pull back the curtain on my job, on the process of taking a show from script to screen, and also share some personal life stuff including what it's like to travel for work and the ongoing struggle for work / life balance while holding down a demanding job.
