An embarrassing 387 lbs is what I weighed in at in January 2021. I had to do something, because being this fat is not acceptable. Over the past 9 months I have been able to loose 27 lbs with sporadic exercise and very little changes in diet. This progress is not good enough. It’s time to get serious! Over the past 9 days I have significantly increased my workouts & started a low carb (Keto) diet. I’m just an average guy that has had enough with being this fat. I’m not working with any trainers or food experts this is truly a DIY weight loss journey. I’m doing this channel to document my progress and hopefully it will keep me honest & motivated. If anyone out there has any tips for workouts or low carb food ideas or good channels to follow please feel free to comment, all good constructive advice is welcome, Thanks!

When you’re over 40 and you are trying to maintain an aggressive workout routine… your biggest fear is injury… I had a moment where I kinda tweaked my lower back a week ago, with that said I decided to take a week off from weight training… weight training does not come easy for me mentally, because there is so much thinking involved… I prefer just doing cardio because I can just check out and listen to a podcast for a couple of hours while I ride or climb… but when it comes to weight training I have to think about how many reps, what exercise to do next, how many sets to do… there is so much thinking involved it can be overwhelming… Today was my first day back weight training and it was a major mental battle… so many times during my training I thought, “Fuck This!! I should ride my bike instead” but I chose to keep fighting those thoughts and continue with my weight training routine… it was not fun… it was not what I wanted to do… but I kept going and when I finished I felt FUCKING GREAT!!!! Keep grinding y’all, some days are harder than others but the feeling you get when you finish something that is really mentally hard it builds that confidence and discipline that is necessary to accomplish the things you thought you could never do!!

I may have the day off from my “Day Job” today… but it’s NO reason to take my foot off of the gas!! Weight Training this morning before hitting the movie theater with my kids, nephews and nieces… back just in time to ship out some online orders for my “Side Hustle” than got a second workout in on the climbmill… & now sitting down to watch a Christmas movie! Time Management is a skill you must build to stick to your diet and exercise schedule… it’s hard but you CAN do it! #weightlossjourney

Planned lunch out today! @baddaddysburger is hands down the easiest restaurant to order low carb! No troubling the wait staff with a lengthy explanation of how you want your burger, just fill out their create your own burger form hand it to the wait staff and when they ask you what side you want simply reply with steamed broccoli!! Could not get any easier!! It’s probably my favorite restaurant at the moment and their burgers are fantastic!! If I could cook a burger patty that good I would never leave my house!🤣👍

2 years in eating low carb, I have eaten TONS of hamburger patties from many different restaurants and hands down @baddaddysburger has the best tasting hamburger patties. Not only that but their “Build a Burger” forms and optional sides make it super easy and stress free to order low carb! Today’s order was a Triple burger with Swiss, Bacon and a fried egg with a side of steamed broccoli…. SO GOOD!!💯😎👍
