Hey, folks!

I filmed and edited a video over the weekend. However, I am experiencing some technical difficulties in YouTube Studio when it comes to adding privacy blurs. I hope that I can resolve the issue and get this video posted this week. Hopefully before the weekend. Stay tuned.

Hey, folks! At the time of writing, I just reached 91 subscribers! This means I'm just 9 subs away from 100 subscribers! Thank you for all your continued support. As always, I'm always open to your feedback and comments about what you would like to see in the future. As I reside in Japan, most things are accessible to me. But I don't want to be just another j-vlogger. I want to do something different.

Second, I forgot to post this community update because I am still recovering from illness this month. Indeed, I believe my anonymous flatmate got me sick. When you stay at budget accommodations, you always take a chance on things.

I just filmed some new videos, but my voice is still audibly scratchy in them. I haven't yet decided if I will keep them as is, mute it, or re-record the narration. I hope to post another video update soon, but I need to take it easy for now. 😷☕️♨️

This is a long overdue video response to ‪@journal_vlog.poteto‬, where I share my Y2K planners, in addition to a Daiso haul, and a Journal With Me.

This video was originally supposed to post on Friday or Saturday. But technical issues got in the way, and it took me way longer than I anticipated to add the English subtitles for the Japanese language portion of the video. But, the work is done, and I have the video scheduled to post tomorrow, Monday, October 28, 2024 at 8:00 am JST. I hope to see you there!

I got sick, yet again. This is my 6th or 7th cold this year, I swear!

Because of that, I’m taking some time off to try to rest up and feel better.

Incoming photo dump! Here are my first layouts in the limited Tokyo edition insert. These are works in progress, and I have since added to the pages.

The first three pages are multi-media, using ink, stickers, and washi tape, allowing the white paper to show through.

The remaining pages are collaged, using assorted print media. I pasted cut out images and elements from flyers, in combination with scrapbooking supplies to create the layouts.

I liked the idea of pre-decorating my pages so that I don’t have to carry all my supplies with me when I travel. The layouts are ready to go, and I can just start writing.

I was inspired by the old YTV Canada bumpers from 1993-1994. Trigger warning for those of you who are sensitive to flashing lights or rapidly changing images.
