We are WIN TV's newest channel, BUDAE JJIGAE! Budae Jjigae is known as "army soup" and was a staple during the Korean War when South Korea was among the poorest countries in the world and had to rely on international aid for survival. Budae jjigae was created using food waste or illegally smuggled good off of US military force bases in Korea. As the stew is based on ingredients from different cultures, we hope this channel will be a "melting pot" space to promote and celebrate all of our individual cultures.
