Sailing Before The Wind

Sailing Before The Wind is a metalcore band from Tokyo, Japan, formed in 2011.
On October 31st 2025, the band will release their long-awaited debut full-length album “Destination”, marking their 15th anniversary.

Known for their killer melodies and powerful stage presence, the band has built an impressive track record over the years.
In 2019, they embarked on the “Revised Standards Tour 2019”, a seven-city national tour with Isotopes as special guests.
In 2022, they held their first-ever one-man show at Shibuya CYCLONE, which sold out.
In 2024, they completed a four-country European tour and later hosted the “Revised Seasons Tour 2024” across Japan with Austria’s Leons Massacre.
That same year, they performed on all dates of Breakdown of Sanity’s Japan tour.
In 2025, the band will further expand their global reach with their first-ever shows in the Philippines in November and Indonesia in December.
