Bronx native, Tally Bands, grew up in the borough’s notorious Soundview & Throggs Neck neighborhoods. Widely known as a high crime areas, he quickly became a product of his environment, falling into a life that so
few peers find their way out of.

While battling addiction and moving to various shelters, things took a turn for the worse with a near death experience. Yet, in spite of the obstacles, Tally maintained his love for music and appetite to succeed. Fueled by his family and life lessons, priorities evolved as he began to use music as his therapy. Identifying his musical influences as DMX, Lil Wayne and Tupac, Tally's lyrical prowess and style fuses witty lyricism and life experience all while reflecting unrivaled authenticity.
