The Impact Movement was founded in 1991 as a college conference for students. During Impact 96, Dr. Charles Gilmer declared it a movement, broadening the focus from a conference in order to fully encompass the mission and vision of this ministry.
The Impact Movement takes the truth of Jesus Christ to the campus, community and world by producing leaders of African descent who are spiritually focused, financially responsible and morally fit.
