Milky Way photography and deep sky astrophotography are for me a passion, an art form, and a way of life. I have participated in countless star parties over the years and spent immeasurable hours photographing the night sky. I have imaged with a wide range of equipment types from entry level equatorial mounts and camera lenses to goto mounts with auto-guiding systems; utilizing both reflectors and apochromatic refractors. There are some fantastic options out there for those just starting out and truly amazing options for those interested in upgrading to and utilizing more advanced systems. For this reason I will review a wide range of equipment types and imaging techniques with the goal of combining my hands-on teaching style with my passion for astrophotography and provide the viewer with a real-life, educational, and fun imaging experience. Feel free to ask questions in the comments sections, I read these comments daily and I always reply. Thank you for watching.
