Little later than usual, but I’m not a day late, haha. For the No. 2 spot, I’m choosing season 5. This season was what really marked a turning point in the series for me. It tackled the story of both the training of heroes AND villains, and neither side felt like they had a lack of content. The morals and goals of both the heroes and villains were tested. Toga, Deku, Shigaraki, Twice, and so on. Tomura’s backstory was done very well and it helped in the growing desire for the villains to actually win. There were so many parts on this season I liked, and if I were to pick a favorite, it’d have to be the sad man’s parade. The way the scene was tackled made twice’s power-up feel so natural, like it was always meant to be that way, and it dug deeper into the more complex side of twice that we don’t see often. We watched Shigaraki and the rest of the league finally became a main threat in the series, and seeing Shigaraki can the Liberation Army felt like seeing the rise of AFO all over again. We got to see Deku manifest another quirk for the first time, characters from class 1-B shine (MY GLORIOUS KING MONOMA), and this season just completely felt like the point where all the loose ends of the story that were building up would come together for a climax. Overall AMAZING season and animation.
Morning, everyone! ATP, I know y’all are gonna think I’m trolling and trying to be funny with rankings, but for my top 3, I’m going with Season 3. 😭 Like I said, I love this season for all the same reasons as season 4. This season always felt like the point of the series where everything would change. The symbol was gone, the kids had to fight the LOV almost completely alone, and AFO, the big bad, was finally making a big move. “His Start” from season 4 gave me the same feel as “One For All” from this season, my favorite MHA episode OAT. Two symbols, thought to be unbeatable being seen at their weakest. Both emotionally and physically crushed and battered. The cheering, and them pulling through with one final attack that sets a new chapter in the story. Deku and Mirio both risking their lives for kids that they’ve just met, despite the situation seeming unwinable. All Might taking a full power blast from AFO just for one random civilian. All of it just moved me so much, and I love how these characters were portrayed and developed in this season. Amazing season.
Good morning! For the #4 spot, I’m going with season 4. The characters in this season were just phenomenal. Kirishima’s unbreakable and backstory, Eri’s introduction and how she was portrayed, the festival, and Endeavor’s atonement. This season mirrored everything I loved about season 3. A hero who fights even when the odds are completely stacked against them, the burning desire to protect someone with their life despite not knowing them, and regret of past choices. Guilt, remorse, all of it. The animation was so fluid the whole season and there wasn’t any points where I wasn’t invested in the story of this season. Overall, this was an amazing season, and it did an amazing job at portraying heroism.
I’m ngl, I forgot that fast about the ranking 😭 To make up for Sunday, I’m ranking two today. For #6, I gotta choose season 6. This season was great, good animation, and had some great fights. The only criticism I have for this season was the adaptation. There were great shots and animation, but there many parts that were just adapted poorly or okay. The first part of the season just felt very lackluster. (Love this season though)
For #5, I gotta go with season 2. I really loved this season because it showcased a lot of different students and their abilities in the sports festival. It introduced many new characters, traits, foreshadows, and gave a lot of room for character development. Speaking of, I don’t remember everything about the stain section of the arc (it’s been a while since I watched season 2), but I enjoyed seeing Iida in a new light and developing more as a character. Overall, I really liked this season and what it did for its characters.
Hey, everyone! First, I want to thank you all for your support on my CARMINE AMV. It went SO much further than I had anticipated, but I’m glad you all enjoyed it. Second, I’m sorry for missing my usual upload date, BUTTT I will upload today or tomorrow. Hopefully today though, and you’ll see why when it’s uploaded 👀
That’s aside, My Hero Academia The Final Season is just ONE WEEK AWAY!! I’m so excited for the final parts of the story to be animated, and to express my excitement, for the next 7 days until it’s release, I’ll be posting my personal ranking for all the 7 seasons from least to most favorite. To start this off…Season 1. Don’t get me wrong, I love every season of MHA, but when it comes to ranking, I just find myself enjoying the other seasons more.
Hey, everyone! I want to thank you all so, so much for all your support this year and before if you knew me then. We’ve reached 8k subscribers recently, which I actually doubted would happen anytime soon. To make up for not having an 8k special, I’ll just let you all know I have a little something else planned for December near the end of the year! 👀
I hope that those who have been watching my content will stay with me to see what’s to come going forward. With all that said, I love you all, and thank you for your support. 💜
Still got more vids on the way, but in the meantime, I thinking about posting comparison/filler posts. By this, I mean things like “One For All AMVs side-by-side” or “favorite parts of…etc.” Is that something you guys would be interested in, or no?
