Great clips from the 1960s Music Festival in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico featuring Chris Montez, Spanky McFarlane, Peter Childs and others. Also clips from Curleyfest 2001 and 2003. The performers included Spanky McFarlane (Spanky and Our Gang, Mamas and Papas), Ethan Kenning (HP Lovecraft), Bobby and Leslie Sahlen, Laurie Lewis (Mamas and Papas), John Kito (Mamas and Papas), Eddie Ponder (Flying Burrito Brothers, Guy Guilbert, Ginni Clemmens, John Brown (Big Three), Marco McClure (Spanky and Our Gang), Kenny Hodges (Spanky and Our Gang), and Peter Child (Knob Lick Upper 10000). The film has degraded so rapidly I feel blessed to have been able to rescue these wonderful performances that came close to being lost forever. The Curleyfest events were produced by me and Spanky McFarlane. All the filming was done by Gordon Soderberg.
