The Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA), which is scheduled to open in Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu in spring 2021, is Korea’s first public museum of craft art, established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government by remodeling the five buildings of the former Poongmoon Girls’ High School. SeMoCA aims to become a dynamic platform that enables people to experience the technical, practical, artistic and cultural values of craft art through not only exhibiting, but also researching and sharing the knowledge, records, individuals, and environment surrounding craft art.
