Rising Sun Education & welfare society is a non-govt and non-profit organization working for children & adults with special needs in Pakistan. Its Founders, Dr. Abdul Tawwab Khan & Mrs. Perveen Tawwab, started their journey with the vision of "making persons with special needs, self reliant members of society". Since 1984 Rising Sun has been striving to serve & empower children with special needs through its various programs. Few important programs include;
1) Early intervention for infants and toddlers.
2) Teaching, training & therapeutic services for school age children.
3) Vocational training for adolescents and adults with special needs.
4) Sheltered employment & sheltered living facilities are also provided through its project "Gosha-e-Aafiyat".
