Scientific Philosopher
she/her

I have always loved theory of mind, conversations about varying points of view, perception, and the nature of the world around me. Even when I was little. That curiosity has taken me on many adventures in life. I’ve hiked up hauntingly steep canyon walls and skid down icy rockface (on skis). I’ve spent countless hours in a lab carefully discussing and examining the structure and function of the brain. And I’ve spent even more time in community centers and classrooms, learning from others. My academic and neuroscience research experience include an MS in Quantitative Bioscience and Engineering, a BA in Neuroscience (major) and Studio Art (minor), and 3+ years post-bachelor research experience in neuropharmacology, plasticity, and electrophysiology at R1 research institutions. I also have 10+ years experience as a contemplation instructor and professional artist. I've done all of this, really, because my favorite thing is to sit and talk, write and read about big ideas.
