Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana (LEGABIBO

LEGABIBO is Botswana's first LGBTQI+ organization, working to advance the human rights, safety, dignity, and inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer people in Botswana.

Registered in 2016 following a historic court victory, LEGABIBO provides community-led advocacy, legal support, health services, public education on SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression), and empowerment programs to challenge discrimination and promote equality. LEGABIBO works at the intersection of human rights, public policy and civic engagement to create a more just and inclusive Botswana.
