The NESP Resilient Landscapes Hub (RLH) is funded by the Australian Government under the National Environmental Science Program (NESP). Our research is delivering the science to improve management of Australia’s terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, helping to make these ecosystems more resilient to extreme events – including bushfires, droughts and floods – and pervasive pressures, such as invasive species.
The NESP RLH Hub is one of four research hubs funded for six years (2020–2021 to 2026–2027) under the Australian Government’s National Environmental Science Program.
The Hub is hosted at The University of Western Australia. Hub projects are overseen by a steering committee and managed by a leadership team, and works collaboratively with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water and a range of other research users to co-design and undertake research that provides practical solutions to critical problems.
