Initially, this channel was established to help my EFL/ESL students in Japan, that they could study English through stories I love. Movies and television, and all sorts of storytelling, can be emotional and powerful ways to explore a language. In the near future, I'll link this YouTube channel to my website, www.englishyeah.com, once I manage to construct something that I think is substantial.
In any case, this website is not just for EFL/ESL learners, but for anyone who might appreciate the incredibly well-made, well-written, and well-directed scenes in the history of movies and television. I don't mean any prejudice or bias in my emphasizing English; it's just that it's my native language. I will look into movies/television scenes outside of it, and I hope to expand this channel to encompass many languages.
