Waqqas is a Desi artist from Pomona, CA, who blends Punjabi, Reggaeton, and Rap into a sound he calls PUNJABBAETON™.
Growing up around Latino and Black communities while staying true to his South Asian roots, he was inspired by everything from 50 Cent to Attaullah Khan to Wisin & Yandel.
He built his own home studio and taught himself how to make music through trial, error, and countless YouTube tutorials.
His breakout single “Nixon” has surpassed 300k plays worldwide, and his follow-up track “TYR” went viral on TikTok with a dance created by The Williams Bros.
Now, Waqqas focuses on creating trilingual, genre-bending music that reflects his unique story.
