Tsz Kit LAU recently graduated from the New England Conservatory where he received his Master of Music in Saxophone Performance with the Academic Honors under the tutelage of Kenneth Radnofsky. He was awarded the Artist Scholarship from the Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts. Before studying abroad, Kit received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2016.
Throughout his studies, Kit won awards in several competitions and received many grants, including the first runner up in the Boston Pops Concerto competition (2019), the second prize winner from the North International Music Competition (2017), being awarded the Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry Music Fund Scholarship (2014)and a study grant Dreaming through Chung Chi (2015)from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Kit has had the opportunity to work with world renowned saxophonists, conductors and directors in masterclass and workshop settings such as Benjamin Zander, Raaf Hekkema, Lars Ml
