늘 그렇듯, 저희와 팬 여러분들, 우리가 함께 했던 시간을 기억하고 싶은 마음에 포스터를 나눠드립니다. 필요하신 분들은 현장에서 챙겨가시기 바랍니다.

덧붙여, 다시 한번 공지드리자면 3년째 이어지는 어두운 다락방 같은 곳에 조촐하게 모여 작은 불을 켜놓고 눈보다는 귀로 듣는 것에 초점을 맞춘 이 특별한 컨셉의 공연은 당분간의 마지막 공연이 될 예정입니다. 내년부터는 본격적으로 3집 작업에 들어갈 예정이라 언제 다시 단독공연을 하게 될지도 기약이 없으니, 긴 시간 동안 오롯이 저희 이상의날개의 음악과 함께 하고 싶은 분들은 이번 공연에 함께 해주시기 바랍니다.

이번 공연은 스탠딩 위주이지만 무대 앞에 소량의 자유석이 있으니 입장 순서에 따라 자유롭게 앉으실 수 있습니다. 앞 쪽에 앉게 되는 분들은 생각보다 음량이 크게 느껴질 수 있으니 혹시라도 귀 보호가 필요하신 분들은 일반 귀마개와는 다른, ‘공연 감상용 귀마개’ 등을 지참하시면 상대적으로 편하게 감상하실 수 있습니다.

작년 이맘때에도 비슷한 글을 올렸지만, 이제는 한 시절이 지나 예전만큼 여러분들과 자주 만나지 못하는 시절입니다. 그런 아쉬움을 달래보고자 올해도 2시간 30분의 긴 시간의 공연을 준비했습니다. 잘해도, 못 해도 가능한한 팬 여러분들과 긴 시간 동안 함께 하고 싶은 마음뿐입니다.

어느덧 추운 겨울이 다가오고 올해 2025년 마지막 공연입니다. 우리 모두에게 안부와 위로의 시간이 될 수 있기를 바랍니다. 🙂🫶

As a reminder, this special concept gig—gathering in a cozy, dimly lit attic-like space for the third year, focusing on listening with your ears rather than seeing with your eyes—will be the last of its kind for the time being. From next year, we’ll be fully immersed in creating our third album, so we cannot promise when we’ll hold another solo gig. For those who want to spend a long, uninterrupted time fully immersed in Wings of the ISANG’s music, we hope you’ll join us for this performance.

While this gig is primarily standing, a small number of seats near the stage will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that sitting in the front may feel louder than expected, so if you need to protect your ears, we recommend bringing concert earplugs designed for live performances rather than regular ones.

We shared a similar message around this time last year, but time flies and these days, we don’t get to see you as often. To make up for that, we’ve prepared a long, 2.5-hour performance this year as well. Whether it goes perfectly or not, our hope is simply to spend a long time together with our fans.

As the cold winter approaches, this will be our final gig of 2025. We hope it can be a moment of greeting and comfort for all of us. 🙂🫶

💿 Second Pressing of [The Borderline of Hope and Despair] is Complete.

As mentioned in our previous acceptance speech video and post, the first pressing (First Press) of the album has now been completely sold out (Wampan). It had been out of stock online for a long time, and even the last two copies found in the distributor's warehouse were sold right away at our recent performance. We are now releasing the second pressing (2nd Press) of the 2nd album, [The Borderline of Hope and Despair].

The main difference between the Second Press and the First Press is that the Second Press will not feature the official distribution sticker/seal on the back, as it will not be officially distributed through major channels.

You can purchase the album at the venue whenever we have a performance. For those who cannot attend our shows, we will also be conducting direct online sales, just as we did for our previous albums.

Starting next year, we will be fully immersed in creating our third album, so we will be taking a break not only from this concept performance but also from holding our own headlining performances for a while. 2011년 EP [상실의시대]로 데뷔해, 2016년 9월에 발매한 정규 1집 [의식의흐름] 앨범으로 2017년 제14회 한국대중음악상 ‘최우수 모던록 음반’을 수상하고, 2021년 9월에 발매한 정규 2집 [희망과 절망의 경계] 앨범으로 2022년 제19회 한국대중음악상 ‘최우수 모던록 음반’을 또 한 번 수상한 밴드 이상의날개가 재작년과 작년에 이어 2025년 12월 6일 토요일, 세 번째로 특별한 컨셉의 단독공연을 갖습니다.

눈을 감고 가만히 듣고 있으면 수많은 상념과 기억, 그리고 풍경의 사운드스케이프가 펼쳐지는 이상의날개의 음악을, 이번 공연을 위해 준비한 특별한 분위기 속에서 150분 동안 오롯이 감상하실 수 있을 것입니다.

Wings of the ISANG 2025 Special Performance

Debuting in 2011 with the EP [Lost], Wings of the ISANG won Best Modern Rock Album at the 14th Korean Music Awards in 2017 with their first full-length album [Stream of Consciousness] (released in September 2016).
The band received the same award again in 2022 for their second album [The Borderline Between Hope and Despair] (released in September 2021).

Following the previous editions held in 2022 and 2023, Wings of the ISANG will return on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for their third special performance — an event with a unique concept and atmosphere.

When you close your eyes and listen, the soundscapes of Wings of the ISANG unfold into countless thoughts, memories, and inner landscapes.
In this performance, you will be able to immerse yourself for 150 minutes in a space carefully designed to evoke that emotional depth and stillness.

We hope this evening at Senggi Studio, where light and darkness coexist, will become a truly special moment shared between Wings of the ISANG and the audience.

벌써 3년 하고 조금 더 지났네요. 2집 [희망과 절망의 경계]로 운 좋게 또 한 번 한국대중음악상을 받고 그때의 수상소감으로 ‘만들었던 CD는 다 팔고 싶다‘ 고 이야기한 적이 있습니다. 그리고 나서 이렇게나 시간이 지나 이제 초판의 마지막 2장이 남게 되었네요.

사실 저희가 갖고 있던 재고는 품절된 지는 조금 되었지만, 며칠 전에 유통사 창고에 잠자고 있던 정말 마지막 재고인, 달랑 3장의 음반을 받아왔습니다. 창고에는 재고가 있으면서 왜 공식 유통 채널은 품절이라고 되어있었는지 이해할 수 없지만, 어쨌든 이 음반의 공식 유통은 완전히 중지하였습니다. 한 장은 미리 기다리고 계시던 분께 보내드렸고, 이제 초판의 마지막 2장입니다.

그때의 장면을 돌이켜보니 200여 장 남아있다고 이야기했는데 그 200여 장을 파는데 이렇게 3년이 넘는 긴 시간이 걸렸네요. 모든 것이 팬 여러분들의 덕분이고, 물론 좋은 일이지만, 조금은 슬프기도 합니다.

1집, 2집 모두 나름 좋은 음반을 만들기 위해 노력했고, 운 좋게 상도 받곤 했지만, 현실은 이렇게 음반을 다 팔기도 쉽지 않은 실정입니다. 더구나 저희는 음악 스타일의 한계 때문인지, 실력 때문인지 야외 록페스티벌 무대에 단 한 번도 불러주지 않고요. 그래서 아직도 언젠가는, 언젠가는 하면서 꿈을 꿉니다. 다음 3집을 더 멋지게 만들면 음반이 잘 팔리고, 큰 무대에 설 수 있을까요? 잘 모르겠습니다.

어쨌든 이번 31일 공연에서 마지막 (초판) 2장을 구입하실 수 있습니다. 최근 몇 달간 음반이 품절이다 보니 재판 문의도 종종 주셨는데요. 11월 중으로 새로 또 두 번째 판을 프레싱할 예정입니다. 그러므로 이번에 구입하지 못해도, 다음 공연에서는 재판된 2집 음반을 구입하실 수 있습니다. 다만, 이제 인터넷 등 공식 유통채널에서는 구입할 수 없으실 텐데, 간혹 터무니없는 가격에 올라오는 중고매장에서 2집 음반은 구입하지 마시길 권해드립니다.

2집 음반 재판이 끝나면 다시 또 공지해 드리겠습니다.

It’s already been a little over three years. After receiving the Korean Music Awards once again for our second album “The Borderline Between Hope and Despair,” I once said in my acceptance speech, “I just want to sell all the CDs we made.”
And now, after all this time, only the very last two copies of the first pressing remain.

Actually, our own stock sold out a while ago, but just a few days ago we received the very last three copies that had been sitting quietly in the distributor’s warehouse. We still can’t quite understand why it was listed as “sold out” on all official channels even though there were still a few copies left in storage — but in any case, the album’s official distribution has now ended completely. One copy has already been sent to someone who had been waiting for it, leaving just two final copies.

Looking back, I remember saying there were about 200 copies left at that time. It’s taken over three years to sell those 200 copies. It’s something we’re truly thankful for — and yet, somehow, it feels a little bittersweet too.

For both our first and second albums, we did our best to make something meaningful. We were lucky enough to even win awards, but in reality, it’s still not easy to sell all the CDs we make. Maybe it’s because of our style of music — or maybe we’re just not good enough yet — but we’ve never once been invited to perform on a big outdoor rock festival stage. So we keep dreaming, saying to ourselves, “Someday, someday…” If we make an even better third album, will it sell better? Will we finally stand on a bigger stage? Honestly, we’re not sure.

Anyway, at our upcoming show on October 31, the last two copies of the first pressing will be available for purchase. Over the past few months, many of you have asked if we’ll repress the album, and we plan to do a second pressing this November. So even if you can’t get one this time, you’ll be able to purchase the repressed version at our next performance. That said, the album will no longer be available through online or official distribution channels, and we strongly advise against buying it from resellers who list it for unreasonable prices.

We’ll let you know again once the second pressing is complete.

To all of you who continue to support us — both from afar and at our gigs — thank you, always. It’s because of you that we’re able to keep going and continue making music. We’ve never forgotten that, not even for a moment. We’ll keep chasing our dreams, one step at a time, together with all of you. Thank you. 🙂🫶
