Original Punk, also commonly known as OP, is an illustrator whose work is inspired by the American skateboarding
since between the 70s and 80s. He also draws influence
from a plethora of music, ranging from bands like strong
out, terror, suicidal tendencies, rise against, Rufio and more.
The majority of his artwork is based on extreme sports such as skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding and is often paired with radical and violent imagery. OP specializes in using a paintbrush for his live art creation and has since worked closely with international labels like VANS Korea and Monster Energy. Till date, OP has been actively involved in various domestic and international projects that include customer art, murals, live paintings and graphic creation. His favorite artists include Jim Phillips, Robert Williams, Yamaguchi Akira, Skinner, Lamoursupreme, Jeong-Ki Kim and Ho Chul Choi.
