The Wilderness is a design company specializing in motion graphics, animation and live action to bring commercials, music videos, interactive content and art installation to a visceral beyond. The Wilderness incorporated under the belief that good design can alter life for the better, but we like to keep things in perspective.

Founded in 2004 by Gabe Imlay and Juliet Rios, The Wilderness has collaborated with many visionaries in the entertainment industry, including Errol Morris, Jake Scott, Joaquin Baca-Asay, Malcom Venville and the Hughes Brothers. The company has produced work for campaigns such as Ad Council, American Express, Brahma, Chase, Dominos, History, Kraft, MTV, Puma, Reebok, Verizon, VH1 and Walmart. The Wilderness has received acclaim for the direction, design and animation on music videos for Passion Pit, The Juan Maclean, Antipop Consortium, and recently, Gordon Voidwell's break out song "Ivy League Circus".
