I’m a kenpo karate brown belt. I have been participating in karate tournaments for a while now, and decided to document my journey. I called this series, My Path to Black Belt. I’ll be posting videos from when I was a white belt at 4 years old, and slowly catch up to today. I’ll also be posting videos of current events and tournaments as they happen. I enjoy sparring and doing traditional kenpo katas. Please join me on my journey and let’s make this a positive channel to appreciate the sport.

The Karate Rick is the name of the channel and a play on the name “The Karate Kid”, a classic and an all time favorite. Who doesn’t like Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence; I’m a big fan of Cobra Kai!
