Power Teachers Africa is a Ugandan not-for-profit tackling the learning crisis by putting teachers at the center of change. We use low-cost, mobile-based tools to empower teachers through professional development, performance tracking, and financial incentives — all aimed at improving classroom attendance and learning outcomes.

Our flagship Power Teachers for Learning model is being piloted in Mbale District, supporting over 30 teachers and 1,800+ pupils with community and partner engagement. We're also developing an admin-light mobile app to address teacher absenteeism and support continuous growth.
